The Lesser Angels built a palace for it. The palace was big and empty. The creature had a whole world to itself!
The hallways of the palace take after the structure of Heaven. Desolate, bright, and winding. Every window looks the same. Heaven's light peirces through, no matter how deep in the labyrinth you are.
If one can manage to wander for long enough, they'll eventually stumble upon the center of the palace: the courtyard. Lacking a roof, you can see straight into Heaven.
"VENUS"
The creature that resides in the palace. They've decided that the courtyard is their main nest, refusing to eat anywhere else. The floor of the courtyard is often caked with blood and viscera - The leftovers of unfinished meals. Constantly being fed fresh* meat, the only thing Venus ever tends to worry about is boredom.
(*Due to how time passes in Heaven, meat doesn't exactly rot. All meat is fresh.)
THE SACRIFICES
The Lesser Angels had originally fed Venus with meat that had already been caught and killed. This left Venus with nothing to hunt or play with, causing them to grow restless and violent. To keep them entertained, the Lesser angels created the Sacrifices. Fabric dolls, filled with guts and meat. Though they do not feel anything at all, they resemble a living being close enough that Venus still enjoys hunting them. The fabric of the Sacrifices is often recycled to create special clothing for Venus.
THE LESSER ANGELS
One of two Angel species living in Heaven. The Lesser Angels enjoy the act of creation. The Lesser Angels that specifically care for Venus (and the rest of Paradise) are focused on keeping Venus comfortable and happy. If Venus is living in a perfect world, they'll never have any reason to leave or be destructive.
THE OTHER ANIMAL
Climbing up from worlds beneath, The Other Animal frequently visits Venus to give them a rare delicacy - Human. They don't particularly care for Venus or the Lesser Angels, only coming to the palace when they want to watch a poor soul be torn apart. The Other Animal might have given Venus a taste for human flesh.
